Basketball is one of my favorite sports. I have been playing it since 7th grade. Even though I have recently started playing competitive basketall, I have created a lot more love for the game as time goes on. I have worked really hard this past year for basketball; trying to get as good as I can be. An interesting fact is that I also play competetive baseball. Even though I said I love basketball, I used to mainly focus on baseball in my recent years. I still love baseball, but I have recently had a stronger drive and work ethic towards basketball.
In addition, when I first started playing basketball I was really trash, but as I grew older and gained more love for it, my game improved a crazy amount. I have really expanded by confidence level recently and I am not going to lie, I am very proud of myself. A few months back were basketball tryouts for the school. I went into this tryout with not much experience with competetive basketball and I was not expecting much to come out of it. However, I was very curious with the skill level of some of the players in my freshman grade. Let me tell you, I have never wanted something so much in my life. I have also never worked at something so hard as I did in the tryout. I really wanted to be a part of something like a team and play the game that I love. Unfortunately, I tryed out for a week and a half and on the last day of cuts, I was told that I didn't make it. In all, even though I didn't make it, I really found a lot of positives out of the situation and I know that I am going to work even harder next year.
